How to read the ripening calendar
In the first column, you'll find the product name, and in the following columns, the months of the year. Highlighted cells indicate the periods when that citrus or tropical fruit is normally ready for harvest and available for sale.
- Start of season: the fruit is ripe, but with a more pronounced acidity.
- High season: the period when the product best expresses its taste, aroma, juice, and color.
- End of season: limited availability.
