Returns and Refunds Policy

Returns and Refund Policy

Updated to Legislative Decree 31 December 2025, no. 209 (transposing EU Directive 2023/2673) — effective from 19 June 2026

1. What's New from 19 June 2026

Starting from 19 June 2026, following the application of Legislative Decree 31 December 2025, no. 209, which transposes European Directive 2023/2673, online purchases will benefit from new protections regarding withdrawal and refunds:

  • Simplified digital withdrawal: If a purchase can be made online, the right of withdrawal can also be exercised online via a specific digital function directly accessible on the website.
  • Prohibition of dark patterns: The use of interfaces that make withdrawal artificially complicated or that improperly influence consumer choices is prohibited.
  • Application to contracts concluded from 19 June 2026 onwards.

2. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

Attention: Due to the nature of our products, the exclusions provided for by Article 59 of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and subsequent amendments apply.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

  • Fresh, perishable, or rapidly expiring products (e.g., fresh oranges, citrus fruits, seasonal fruits and vegetables): by their nature, they cannot be returned as they deteriorate quickly. This exclusion is provided for by law (Article 59, letter d), Legislative Decree 206/2005).
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

Please carefully check the product category before making a purchase.

3. Right of Withdrawal for Eligible Products

For products not falling within the exclusions mentioned in point 2, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date on which you (or a third party designated by you) physically take possession of the goods, without having to provide any reason.

How to Exercise Withdrawal

From 19 June 2026, you can exercise the right of withdrawal via:

  • Digital function on the website (withdrawal button) — accessible from your personal area or the order page.
  • Email to: info@arancebio.it — indicating your first name, last name, order number, and your intention to withdraw.
  • Standard withdrawal form (pursuant to Annex I, Part B, of the Consumer Code), which can be filled out and sent via email.

You will receive confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal communication without delay.

4. Product Return

After exercising the right of withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days from the date of communication, in the following conditions:

  • Product intact, unused, and in its original packaging.
  • Complete with all accessories and accompanying documents.

The return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise communicated by us upon acceptance of the withdrawal.

5. Refunds

Following the acceptance of the withdrawal, we will proceed with the refund of all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the date we receive the withdrawal communication.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise explicitly agreed. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

There will be no additional costs for the refund.

6. Defective or Non-Compliant Products

In the event that the product received is defective, damaged during transport, or not compliant with what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@arancebio.it, attaching photos of the product and packaging.

We will evaluate the report and, if the non-compliance is confirmed, we will proceed with a refund or replacement at no additional cost to you, even for products that are ordinarily excluded from the right of withdrawal.
