Characteristics of Sulla honey

Sulla honey has a lower sweetening power than honeys like acacia and has a very high concentration of fructose. It is also rich in iron, copper, zinc, magnesium, and manganese. It also contains vitamin A, C, and some B-group vitamins. It has a purifying and detoxifying effect, diuretic and laxative effects, and its application is recommended for pimples and acne. Finally, like all other types of honey, it is particularly indicated for combating sore throats and coughs.

Sulla honey is a rapidly crystallizing honey, forming medium or fine crystals with a color ranging from white-beige when crystallized. It is useful to remember that crystallization is a natural process that affects honey and demonstrates its authenticity as it has not undergone industrial processing.

It has a very delicate taste, also presenting a citrus aroma, due to the numerous nearby citrus groves.
