Organic Navel Oranges
Organic Lane Late oranges
Organic blonde oranges from Sicily belonging to the Navel family, grown in Francofonte. Lane Late is a late-season variety with juicy flesh, a sweet, balanced flavour and generally no seeds.
Origin: Sicily, Italy. Edible peel; wash before use.
Organic Lane Late oranges — Extra large for eating
9 kg box. Fruit diameter stated in the variant: > 80 mm.
The Extra selection contains larger fruit, convenient for peeling and serving in segments or slices. Choose it for eating fresh, fruit salads and orange salads. Extra refers to fruit size, not greater sweetness.
Does orange size change the flavour?
Within each variety, our oranges of different sizes come from the same trees. Size refers to the dimensions of the fruit: a smaller orange is not inherently less sweet or less flavoursome. Flavour and juiciness naturally vary with ripeness and the season.
Which box should you choose?
Choose a 9 kg box of organic Lane Late oranges, Extra large for eating, to suit how you use them. Eating, Extra, juicing and Mini are size selections within the same variety, not different varieties.
