The Etna mandarin is a seedless fruit, medium-large in size compared to traditional clementines.
The intensely fragrant peel is medium thick with a color ranging from green to orange that adheres moderately to the fruit.
The pulp, generally seedless or with very few seeds, is sweet and juicy, characterized by a good balance between sugars and acids.

The ripening period is late October to early November.
